Solubility/Dilution
Generally, it has good miscibility with the following solvents, but the storage stability of the prepared solution must be tested.
Desmophen® C1200 can be diluted with esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons and ether ester solvents. Solutions with low base content will cause turbidity and sedimentation after long-term storage.
Urethane grade solvents should be used (water content <0.05%, no other active impurities).
Compatibility
Desmophen® C1200 can be mixed with many Desmophen® and Desmodur® products. Considering the wide variety of miscible products, products should be tested for compatibility before use.
Application
Coatings and sealing primers prepared with Desmophen ® C1200 and aliphatic isocyanates have good weathering and hydrolysis resistance. Other uses include decorative coatings, sealants and sealants.
Save
Desmophen C1200 is easily hygroscopic and should be stored sealed in the original container. This product has a shelf life of at least 6 months when stored in the original container under appropriate conditions.
Storage at low temperatures may form crystalline precipitates. The crystallized material can be melted by slow heating at a temperature not exceeding 60°C.
