Product Introduction
Desmodur® 0118 is a 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate monomer with a molecular weight of 250 and is a colorless to light yellow solid at room temperature. This product is mainly used in the production of polyurethane products. Sampling When sampling products, prevent the product from coming into contact with moisture or being exposed to moisture.

Save
Desmodur 0118 should be stored in dry, sealed containers at a storage temperature of (45±1)°C. The product shelf life is 10 days.

Operation Guide
Like all isocyanates, Desmodur 0118 Liquid is very sensitive to water and reacts with water to produce insoluble urea and carbon dioxide. In a closed container, the carbon dioxide produced will cause the pressure in the container to rise and cause danger. Desmodur 0118 Liquid will accelerate its yellowing when exposed to air, especially sunlight. Therefore, it is recommended to store Desmodur 0118 Liquid in a dry nitrogen environment. Yellowing generally does not affect the processability of the product. Desmodur 0118 Liquid is sensitive to heat and will form dimers.
